Schneider, 24, went 35-23-2 with four shutouts and a 2.51 goals against average in a career-high 60 games for the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League last season.

Over three seasons in the AHL, Schneider is 83-45-5 with 12 shutouts and a 2.31 GAA. He is the team leader in games, wins and saves (3,520), and is tied for the top mark in shutouts.

Schneider won the Aldedge 'Baz' Bastien Memorial Award as the AHL's best goaltender in 2009.

Selected by Vancouver with the 26th overall pick of the 2004 draft, Schneider has appeared in 10 games for the Canucks over the past two seasons and is 2-5-1 with a 3.46 GAA.
