Chelsea's Lampard will return for Inter clash

Soccer Betting Lines

02/23/2010 - London, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Chelsea has confirmed Frank Lampard will be available for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Inter Milan after shrugging off the effects of a virus.

The England international was a doubt for the first leg of the last 16 tie in Italy after missing the weekend Premier League victory over Wolves.

However, the 13-goal midfielder has provided coach Carlo Ancelotti with a timely boost after joining up with the squad which flew out from London on Tuesday.

Elsewhere, defensive duo Alex and Juliano Belletti have both proved their fitness following knee problems.

Yury Zhirkov (calf) has joined Jose Bosingwa, Michael Essien, Deco (all knee) and Ashley Cole (ankle) on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, Ancelotti insists the whole of Italy wants to see Chelsea get one over Inter and their outspoken coach Jose Mourinho.

The duo traded verbal blows in the Italian media last season when Ancelotti was in charge of Inter's bitter city rivals AC Milan.

"The whole of Italy, Inter fans excluded, will be supporting Chelsea tomorrow night," he told Italian newspaper Il Giornale.

Speaking about former Chelsea boss Mourinho, he added: "He is good at charging up the atmosphere and the team, but it's ground I would never go on."
