02/02/2010 - Perth, Scotland (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - St. Johnstone manager Derek McInnes snapped up the Bolton Wanderers teenager Mark Connolly on loan until the end of the season on transfer deadline day.

The 18-year-old central defender could make his debut for the club in the Co- operative Insurance Cup semi-final against Rangers at Hampden Park.

McInnes told the club's official website: "Mark comes very highly recommended by (former Bolton boss) Gary Megson and I've seen him in action on a couple of occasions myself.

"I've obviously been able to speak to Owen Coyle about him and he also rates Mark but feels he needs a bit more experience and I'm sure he'll be an asset to us for the remainder of the season."
