Jazic, Galindo sidelined for Chivas USA

04/15/2010 - Carson, CA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Chivas USA defender Ante Jazic is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a knee injury and forward Maykel Galindo could miss up to two weeks with an ankle sprain, the club announced Tuesday night.

Jazic started the first three games of the season for Chivas but was forced to leave Saturday's 2-0 win over Red Bull New York in the first half. He sprained the MCL in his right knee, but will not require surgery.

Galindo started the first two matches of the year, and entered Saturday's game in the 58th minute but lasted just 19 minutes. He sprained his left ankle, but could return for the April 24 game against the San Jose Earthquakes.

Chivas (1-2-0) visits the Houston Dynamo on Saturday.
